Student Support Initiatives and Collaborations

Student Weekend and Evening Study Hours

If you are a student in need of a new and fairly quiet place to study on some evenings and weekends, study space is available at the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which is located at 1085 Van Voorhis Rd., next to Applebee's on Evansdale Campus.

Please contact Mr. Bruce E. Mitchell II
to coordinate with his schedule.

Student study space policy

Study space and time is based upon the availability of staff supervision. We ask that students use computers appropriately, respect the space by cleaning up after themselves, and be prepared to complete their studying and exit the building by 12 a.m. midnight.

Free Printing and Computer Use

Our Division is willing to support reasonable, work appropriate computer and printing needs for students for class and for student organizations. The Division has an open-door policy, and students are welcome to utilize this resource whenever the Division office is open.

The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is located on the second floor at 1085 Van Voorhis Road in the Suncrest Center. The Suncrest Center is located between Applebee’s and Starbucks on Van Voorhis Road, across the street from the Mountaineer Station and Health Science PRT station. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m.- 4:45 p.m., except on University holidays.

The Adams Wilkins Book Award

In partnership with Morgantown's local barber shop and shoe boutique owners, Bilal Adams and Lloyd Wilkens, the Division is hosting a small book scholarship award for WVU students who can meet certain criteria each semester.
