She/Her

Megan is an Honors political science and criminology double major, with a minor in leadership studies. She is a Supervisor for WVU Campus Recreations, Panhellenic Vice President of Inclusion, Delta Gamma's Director of Social Awareness, a Milan Puskar Leadership Scholar, and President of the Peer Advocates. She is also involved in various clubs on campus, including the Hip Hop Dance Team. She chose to be a Diversity Ambassador at WVU because she wants to help engender a safe and inclusive community for all. She believes that by furthering our understanding of one another's background and experiences, we can develop a more universal competence and move towards achieving a more equitable society; that Mountaineers take pride in exploration and further expanding our global community to exceed expectations and set new standards for society; and that in order for Mountaineers to continue as agents of change through exploration, we must grow our awareness in the areas of diversity and inclusion here at WVU. As an ambassador she hopes to be a resource, an ally, and an advocate for her peers to build an inclusive campus that promotes positivity, enacts change, and creates a safe space for productive dialogue.

West Virginia University is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture by promoting diversity, inclusion, equality, and intercultural and intercommunity outreach.
